National Eczema Society is the UK charity for everyone affected by eczema.  National Eczema Society provides information and advice for people living with eczema and their families, which they deliver through their website, social media channels, publications and nurse-supported Helpline. They are also the voice of people with eczema, raising awareness of the condition, supporting research into new treatments and campaigning for better medical care.

The most common form, atopic eczema, affects 1 in 5 children and 1 in 10 adults in the UK*.

The skin is often unbearably itchy – the urge to scratch can be relentless – and during an eczema flare-up the skin can also be red, cracked, sore and raw. Alongside the painful physical symptoms, many children and adults experience related sleeplessness, anxiety, depression and other mental health problems.

The National Eczema Society's partnership with Bioderma is based on a shared commitment to support those affected by eczema and support of the charity's core work.

Through this collaboration, Bioderma supports National Eczema Society's efforts in raising awareness, funding research, and offering vital resources to patients and their families. Together, we aim to foster a greater understanding of eczema and ultimately improve the overall well-being of those living with this life-changing skin condition.

This includes campaigning for improvements in care and supporting research into new treatments. This collaboration represents a beacon of hope for the eczema community, fostering a brighter future with greater understanding, support, and compassion for a condition that is sometimes poorly understood and sometimes trivialised.
